The Religious Administration of Muslims of Crimea considers the fire which happened in the building of the mosque in Zhigulina Roscha (near the village Mirnoe, the Simferopol area) to be a "purposeful attempt of destabilization of inter-confessional peace in Crimea" and demands from law enforcement bodies "acceptance of immediate measures on revealing of the persons who made an arson and bringing them to the court". About it is told in the official statement of the chairman of the RAMC, the Mufti of Crimea, Emirali Ablaev, extended by the press-service of the Religious Administration.
On December, 8th, 2010, in the Islamic Cultural Centre of Simferopol took place the III scientific conference on the topic "Cultural-civilized dialogue and ways of harmonization of interethnic and inter-confessional relations in Crimea". As organizers of the action acted the Crimean branch of the Institute of Oriental Studies of the NAS of Ukraine and the all-Ukraine Association of Social Organizations "Àlraid".
On September, 28th, in the city of Saki took place solemn ceremony of opening of a new medrese at the city mosque which building was finished with financial support of maecenas from Turkey. On it is informed on the official site of the Religious Administration of Muslims of Crimea.
At the Saksky mosque will be opened a male medrese. On it the correspondent of QHA was informed by the member of the Saksky city Mejlis Elvis Ablaev.
In the Religious Administration of Muslims of Crimea they plan to reconsider Muslim religious communities and to discharge imams who contrary to the decision of the Muftiyat on celebrating of Oraza Bayram on September, 9th, carried out a festive prayer one day later. The given decision was accepted at the meeting of the Council of Religious Communities of Muslims of Crimea which took place on September, 15th, in Akmesdzhit (Simferopol).
The society of the Crimean Peninsula in the south of the Ukraine is widely varied; whereby it is inhabited by approximately 120 different ethnic and religious groups, the most prominent of which are the Christian Russian Slavs (40%), Ukrainian Christian Slavs (30%) and the Tartar Muslims of Turkish origins (18%). Dr.Hedar Khair Al Dinov, a professor of history at the national Crimean University, states that peaceful co-existence amongst these groups in the crimea was an example of mutual respect between cultures, with an intermingling of traditions and languages, showing that it was not an area of conflict for more than a thousand years.
The Economic court of Crimea satisfied in full the statement of claim for allocation in Akmesdzhit of the land area under building of the Cathedral mosque, taking into account additions which were brought from the side of the Spiritual Management of Muslims of Crimea. About it the news agency QHA informed the lawyer representing in court the SMMC, Hatidzhe Mamutova.
On March, 31st, in Krasnogvardeyskoye Medrese of Hafiz that is in Crimea, took place a solemn action for a case of beginning of teaching of its best students to the Quran by heart. For the Crimean Muslims this event was one more step on a way to revival of high level of spiritual culture and religious education inherent in them.
On March, 24th, in the Islamic Cultural Centre of Simferopol took place a conference under the title "Culture and life of the Crimean Khanate", dedicated to the history of origin and development of the Crimean Khanate and Islam in Crimea. The action was carried out by the Social Organization "Amal" with support of the all-Ukraine Association of Social Organizations "Àlraid".
Only 13 out of 80 built mosques in Crimean have technical certificates. According to representatives of the SMMC, this situation developed mainly because of caused difficulties at registration of legal documents on the constructed cult buildings.
In the Spiritual Management of Muslims of Crimea was summed up the last year. "As a whole, 2009 was fruitful. Together with daily work were realized important projects on Islam revival in Crimea and population education". The Mufti of Muslims of Crimea Hajji Emirali Ablaev informed on it in his interview to the news agency QHA.

Exposure and detention of the Crimean police in October of five supporters of exotic, but inherently ultra radical organization "At-Takfir wal-Hijra" which in their "sanctuary" close to Simferopol stored weapons, extremist literature and likely prepared "jihad" on the leaders of the Mejlis, gave impulse to the next information-analytical splash. The next is since, for the first time, as I remember, the topic of penetration on the Crimean peninsula of Islamic fundamentalism was brought to the attention of publicity about ten years ago.
"Nowadays the only Ukrainians in Crimea are the Crimean Tatars", Dzhemilev says. He, of course, exaggerates, but not too much. Nowadays the Crimean Tatars, though as it may sound surprising, are the most loyal to Kiev community of Crimea. In fact, this is a merit of the Mejlis. It is sometimes called "The Tatar national parliament", sometimes - "illegal/ unregistered organization". Both definitions are incorrect.
In Crimea they call to forbid use of loud speaking equipments at azan reading at night as it creates high noise level beside a mosque and displeases local residents. Nina Berestan the chief of a site of municipal hygiene of sanitarian-epidemic station, informed on it in her interview to the New Channel.
The activity of the Turkish and Arabian organisations directed on support of revival of spirituality of the Crimean Muslims, does not give the reason to speak about Islam capture in Crimea. The expert of the Center of the Middle-Eastern Researches Sergey Danilov said about it in exclusive interview to news agency QHA.
