It’s on this Friday Dnipropetrovsk will finally have a place where Muslims can always pray and learn the basics of religion and the Holy Qur’an and Arabic, and Non-Muslims can improve their knowledge of different cultures, on centuries of Islam in Ukraine, and on various peoples following the rules of that religion.

Awaiting for you on January 29, 2016, at the address: 5 Stolyarova Str, Dnipropetrovsk. The event begins at 11:30 am. Our dear guests will see the opening ceremony, attend a photo exhibition, be shown around the place and enjoy fourchette. Muslims, in addition to mentioned above, will be able to perform the joint Friday prayer right there at the mosque.

Dnipropetrovsk ICC will be the ninth AUASO “Alraid” Centre of that kind, under the guideline of RAMU “Umma”, combining the religious, social and educational activities.

It contains a mosque, a conference-hall, woman’s department, classrooms and a recreation zone. Such structure allows to provide the full religious activities of the community, along with social and educational work, study programmes (Sunday School of Arabic for all, Sunday School for kids, women’s courses, classes for foreigners, etc.). All this makes the Centre the first institution of that kind in the Middle Dnieper region, able to both fulfill the Muslim’s religious needs and perform social, scientific, cultural and educational functions.

Sheikh Edgar Devliqamov, Imam at Dnipropetrovsk Muslim religious community “Vidrodzhennya” (Ukr. “Renaissance”), who has a Master’s degree in Shariah, will be the Head of the ICC. Religious community “Vidrodzhennya” was created in 1998, and only now the construction of their own Centre is complete and the period of hiring places to pray is over.
