From the first day of the Muslim holy Ramadan month, the Kyiv Islamic Cultural Center, which has not complained about the absence of visitors before, is completely filled by them. The believers are crowded together in the halls of the mosque, trying not to miss any of the prayers. The followers of Islam know that Ramadan is the most favorable time to improve the Holy Koran reading, to begin  learning the language of the Message and gaining new knowledge.

In the Kyiv Islamic Cultural Center all conditions are created so that every believer can quench his/her thirst for knowledge. Every day ICC provides Quranic studying for children and adolescents, Holy text reading for everybody after the evening prayer, Tajvid lessons for women, classes for those who decided to participate in the contest of Quran reciters (25 Ramadan (June 9).) Commemoration of the Almighty after the Fajr, reminders between iftar and night prayer - all these are provided so that every Muslim can fully take advantage of the holy month and fulfill his duty to the Most High for the sake of His contentment!

The ICC team also took care of educational materials disposed in social media. For example, a series of video lectures by respected lectors and imams.

Every evening, up to 1,500 Muslims after a day of strict fasting, without food and drink, stay to enjoy the iftar together with their co-religionists. And then the tents in the courtyard near the building of the ICC are filled with hundreds of men, and the room on the second floor is filled with women. The activists help to lay the tables for iftar so everybody manage to eat allowed meal. After iftar, believers drink tea.

There are a lot of people in the ICC not only in the daytime, but also at night. Up to 800 people stay for an extra night prayer - tarawih-prayer, because the Prophet Muhammad said: "The person who fasts in Ramadan with iman and expectations of reward of Allah, shall have his past sins forgiven".
