SMMU "Ummah" and "Alraid" Association Urge Ukrainian Muslims to Take Active Part in Elections
The Spiritual Management of Muslims of Ukraine "Ummah" and the All-Ukraine Association of Social Organizations "Аlraid" urge all Ukrainian Muslims to take active part in presidential elections, to be diligent and responsible citizens of the country.
The state's future depends on its citizens, therefore everyone should consciously vote for the candidate who will work for the good of the Ukrainian society.
"We address to the candidates on the post of the president with wishes which, we are sure, will support the Muslims of Ukraine.
We would like to see the Ukrainian society stable and peaceful where a freedom of worship and creed go beside tolerance and mutual respect, where more attention is given to spirituality and morals where is propagandized healthy, sober way of life, where family and children are the most important value of the state.
We hope that those who are elected and those who elect, will judiciously and consciously do their work, and by common efforts we will become the State from a capital letter, the State which takes care of its citizens", reads the circulation, published on a web-site of arraid.org.
The SMMU "Ummah" and Association "Аlraid" wish Ukrainians peace and consent, and hope that elections 2010 will take place in a fair democratic way, and each citizen of Ukraine could freely make his choice, thus having expressed his own point of view.
