Separate compartments for men and for women enjoy increasing popularity among Ukrainians. Since April, 20th, separate compartments will appear in twelve trains of the Lvov railway. The "sex" of the compartment will be defined according to the first sold ticket. That is, if it will be bought by a woman, other berths will be occupied by women, too, and on the contrary.

And this service will not be reflected in the cost of tickets in any way. For the innovation are provided two cars in each train. As it informs "Vecherniye Vesti", to take advantage of such service it will be possible in the trains №26 Lvov — Odessa, №98 Lvov — Kiev, №12 Lvov — Kharkov, №100 Uzhgorod — Kiev, №82 Uzhgorod — Kiev, №107 Uzhgorod — Odessa, №628 Chernovtsy — Kiev, №352 Chernovtsy — Odessa.

Let us remind that earlier the same service was already introduced on other directions — on the Southern, Odessa and Pridneprovsky railway. And it appeared that 95 % of passengers prefer such a variant of travel.

Moreover, for Muslims living in Ukraine "male" and "female" compartments is an issue of not just convenience, but religious beliefs. Similar service exists practically in all Islamic states, and also in Bulgaria, Spain and Poland.
