Mr.Pavlo Klimkin, Ukrainian Minister Of Interior, revealed details of a Crimean Tatar Reshat Ametov murder when speaking to delegates and guests of II Crimean Tatar World Congress.

The QHA reminds that the Crimean Tatar activist was kidnapped by so-called “self-defence troops” from a peaceful manifestation as indicated by a video lated uploaded to the Internet. Mr.Sergey Aksenov, self-proclaimed Head of Republic of Crimea, on his part, claimed that the self-defence troops had nothing to do with the murder.

The corpse of the Crimean Tatar was found on March 15, 2014 in Belogorsky district of Crimea, with his head wrapped in scotch tape and wristbands laying nearby. The man was later recognized as 38 year old Reshat Ametov, kidnapped in Simferopol on March 3, 2014.

Funeral ceremony was held on Simferopol city cemetery on March 18, with about 2,000 people coming from all over Crimea to pay last tributes to late Mr.Ametov. His widow, Zarina Ametova, now raises three little kids alone.

Later the interrogators claimed to have identified the murderer; however, they suppose that he is in the so-called “DPR” (Donetsk people’s Republic) at the moment.
