On December, 10th, in the Islamic Cultural Center of the AUASO "Аlraid" of the city of Simferopol under the aegis of the Social Organization "Emel" passed the youth championship of Crimea on "own game" and "erudite-quartet".
Following the results of its carrying out it became clear that for the last year youth intellectual movement has grown and has got stronger — both at the expense of total of the participants, and at the expense of expansion of the spectrum of the educational institutions presented on it.
"Own game" — each for oneself
15 players took part in "Own game" — individual intellectual competition. This time there were presented not only Simferopol universities; thanks to participation of the Crimeans, studying outside of the peninsula, in the tournament participated the students from the Odessa National University of Mechnikov and the Lvov National University of Ivan Franko.
Following the results of the game the first and second places once again won their last year's owners. Oleg Ryaboshapko (the TNU) following the results of this year is already two-multiple champion of Crimea; the most young participant, first-year student of the ONU, Egor Kuzmenko, for the second time became the silver prize-winner of the competition. The student of the NAEPRD,
Cyrill Leonenko, climbed up the third step of the pedestal.
"Erudite-quartet"
The erudite-quartet among youth teams was carried out in Crimea for the first time. It represents a team variant of the game in which players of the team alternately answer the questions divided on separate topics.
In this competition the winner was the team of the Jewish center "Hesed Shimon" — Kinor Halom Gilel.
The second place got the students of the historical faculty of the TNU. It was their first experience of participation in competitions of the all-Crimea scale, and quite worthy: almost all the game the "historians" were on a par with the leader, and only at the finish line they made some fatal mistakes.
The third place got "Jupiter" team which was represented by the students of several universities: the TNU, the TSEU, the CSMU of Georgiyevsky.
