Two groups of Crimean Tatars from Bakhchisaray and Saqi districts went to Kyiv in order to join the main Maidan of the country. The Mejlis reported they had nothing to do with sending people to Kyiv, but they truly support such actions.
The Crimeans gather and organize on their own initiative with the help of social media. Groups from Crimea often go to Kyiv in order to support Ukraine’s wish for Eurointegration.
Head of Crimean Tatar Mejlis Mr/Refat Chubarov said, “People support the idea of Eurointegration. We coordinate their tripos and try to help them in Kyiv as much as we can, namely safeguard their warmth and safety. The Mejlis shares the civil position of our fellow countrymen.”
It bears reminding that it’s the third day already since dozens of Ukrainian cities express their wish for Eurointegration by holding meetings against the “pause” taken by the Ukrainian government in the association process.
