Zaporizhia ICC participated in the tourist festival-fair

The Tourist Festival "Zaporizhia is a place of happiness" was held traditionally in Zaporizhia during these May days. In the picturesque Voznesenivskyi Park near the cascade of fountains "Rainbow" the guests from various regions of Ukraine presented their tourist opportunities, in particular, from regions as follows: Volyn, Zakarpattya, Zaporizhia, Kirovohrad, Kyiv, Poltava, Sumy, Ternopil, Kharkiv, Kherson.

Senior officials of Zaporizhia Regional State Administration, Regional Department of Culture, Tourism, Nationalities and Religions, the City Council and the Association of Minorities of Zaporizhia region addressed the audience with the greetings and wishes of vivid impressions and new discoveries.

— A lot of thanks to the organizers of this festival for giving the territories of our region and Ukraine the opportunity to show its territories and attract tourists. We thank guests from other regions and wish you unforgettable impressions of your stay in our glorious Zaporizhia land. And special words of gratitude to the territories of our region, representatives of the united territorial communities, representatives of museums, manors, regional natural history centers, tourism business, who have gathered here to represent the tourist, cultural, social and economic power of our Zaporizhia region, — took the floor the first deputy chief of the Zaporizhia Regional Council, Yegor Semenkov.

The event was attended by representatives of ethno-national communities and religious organisations, including the Muslims of Zaporizhia.

— On May 12, activists of the ICC "Vira" (Faith) and Crimean Tatar organisation Ana-Yurt took part in the City Festival "Zaporozhia is a place of happiness". Visitors could see an exhibition of painted dishes, headdresses and belts with a national ornament of the Crimean Tatars, ask questions to representatives of the Crimean Tatar people and get a cake with a tamge as a gift, by having answered questions about the Crimea or Crimean Tatars, — said the activists of the Zaporizhia Islamic Cultural Center "Vira".

According to the information posted on website of the Zaporizhia Regional Council, tourist companies, accommodation and catering facilities, leisure, culture, representatives of national societies of the region, representatives of green estates, sports tourism and extreme recreation, as well as folk masters presented their tourist products at the festival.

By the way, at the current Zaporizhia Tourist Festival it was possible not only to have a good rest, but also to order a tour "at the first hand", to buy souvenirs, to learn a lot of interesting about tourism in Ukraine and in the region, to get necessary business contacts and much more.

In addition, the guests of the festival had the opportunity to watch performances by creative teams and individual performers from Zaporizhia and Berdyansk, in particular from the Center for Aesthetic Education of Khortytskyi district, performances of solo singers Daniela Kasatkina and Daria Vinnik, singer Inna Glova, singer, composer, teacher and producer Sergei Babenko, famous singer and composer Yuriy Avramets, the group "SinOff".

An information tour to the coast of the Azov Sea was also launched for the participants of the event. The participants went to Kyrylivka, where they would be presented with the best summer offers of 2018, hotels, recreation and nutrition facilities of the Azov coast. The participants of the tour will learn how to successfully combine a recreation at sea coast with busy excursion programs.
