The decision has been taken during the meeting of Milli Majlis on 22 January.</p> <p></p><p>As <a href="http://www.qha.com.ua/">QHA</a> is reported by the press service of the Majlis, analysis of the elections results 17 January 2010 indicates that the vast majority of the Crimean Tatars who participated in the elections supported Yulia Timoshenko’s candidacy. Also a considerable part of the Crimean Tatar voters supported Serhii Tihipko, Victor Yushchenko, Arsenii Yatseniuk and Anatolii Hrytsenko in the first round of elections.</p><p>"The Majlis of the Crimean Tatar people running commission of the Qurultay of the Crimean Tatar people, based on a detailed study programmes and assessment of previous activities of Yuliya Tymoshenko and Victor Yanukovych, decided to support Mrs Tymoshenko in the second round of presidential elections, and in this regard Milli Majlis calls all compatriots on to demonstrate maximum activity in the elections and to make personal contribution to the democratic development of Ukraine and conditions creation for respect human and peoples’ rights in Ukraine" – it is noted in the press service.</p><p><strong>50-70 thousand Crimean Tatars’ votes</strong></p><p>According to the Crimean analysts, leaders of the Majlis of the Crimean Tatar people can provide Presidential candidate of Ukraine, current Prime Minister Yuliya Tymoshenko with 50 to 70 thousand votes of the Crimean Tatars by the organized efforts. "The organized efforts of the central Majlis and branched structure of the regional majlises can add 50 to 70 thousand votes of the Crimean Tatars to Yuliya Tymoshenko" - experts noted in interview for <a href="http://www.radiosvoboda.org/">Radio Liberty</a>.</p><p>Also these facts were confirmed by the First Deputy Chairman of Milli Majlis Refat Chubarov. He added that for Crimean Tatars there are no alternatives between Yuliya Tymoshenko in opposition with Victor Yanukovych.
