According to the chairman of the Majlis of the Crimean-Tatar people, Mustafa Dzhemilev, Ukraine has no possibilities in decision of the problem of restoration of rights of the Crimean Tatars.

About it is stated in a New Year's congratulation of M. Dzhemilev which text possesses the agency e-Krym. In the congratulation are listed the most important, according to the head of the Majlis, events of the last year, and also the most considerable events which are expected by the Crimean Tatars in the new year.

The most important event of 2012 is the forthcoming elections of 250 delegates of Kurultay of the Crimean-Tatar people, considers Dzhemilev, on which sessions the new structure of the Majlis and the new chairman of this body to be elected. "It is a very important event. As far fair the elections will be, as far the people elected by it will be true representatives of their people, as successful will be the activity of this representative body", the head of the Majlis emphasized.

Secondary he considers the October elections to the Supreme Rada of Ukraine. "If we manage to provide active participation of our compatriots in elections, we will achieve that the candidates recommended by Kurultay will receive all votes, so we express political power and unity of our people", M.Dzhemilev is assured.

The third important event he named the planned carrying out of the International forum on restoration of rights of the Crimean-Tatar people. According to M.Dzhemilev, the head of the diplomatic missions and representatives of international organizations accredited in Ukraine "supported the initiative of carrying out of such forum and assured about the help from its part".

"We see and we understand that Ukraine has no sufficient possibilities in the decision of these problems", he complained.

As it was informed earlier, in this year is planned carrying out of the International forum on the issue of restoration of rights of the Crimean Tatars; the definite date of carrying out of the forum is at coordination stage.

In August, 2010, the delegates of Kurultay of the Crimean-Tatar people made a decision to support the initiative about necessity of convocation of the International forum on the issue of restoration of rights of the Crimean Tatars.

Necessity of carrying out of such forum is explained by the need of "elimination of destructive consequences of total deportation of the Crimean-Tatar people and decades of its violent deduction in dispatch places".
