Ukraine is ready to share its experience of successful hosting large-scale sports event in the course of Qatari holding of FIFA World Cup 2022. “I know that many Ukrainian experts are ready to participate in preparations for this important event,” the President said at the presentation of national projects and investment opportunities of Ukraine. The Head of State noted that the sphere of big sports was mutually beneficial for Ukraine and Qatar.
On the other hand Ukraine is interested in building infrastructure objects in Qatar for FIFA World Cup 2022. “It is interesting for our business,” the President said in his interview to media representatives in Qatar.
The President also invited Qatari businessmen to participate in the implementation of “Olympic hope-2022” project. It was stated by him in Doha, at the presentation of national projects and investment opportunities of Ukraine
“We have sports ambitions for 2022. We are planning to host Winter Olympic Games in Ukraine. For this end, we have unique natural opportunities,” the President said. He added that it was still necessary to establish appropriate tourist and sports industry. “Olympic hope-2022” is aimed exactly at these purposes.
“I urge Qatari businessmen to consider the implementation of this project with us,” Viktor Yanukovych noted.
