On consideration of the Ministry of Infrastructure arrived the reference of the People's Deputy Alexander Feldman addressed to the President Victor Yanukovch "Concerning creation in the international airport Borispol special places for prayer".

In the reference Feldman notices that despite constant growth of number of religious pilgrims, at the largest Ukrainian international airport Borispol till now there are no specialized places where believers could make a prayer, use religious literature, cult and ritual subjects, and also to take food according to religious instructions.

The deputy suggests considering possibility of creation of such specialized places for prayer in the course of the airport reconstruction.

According to Feldman, only on the eve of Easter from Ukraine to the Holy Land came thousands of believers and priests.

It is necessary to note growth of quantity of Ukrainian Muslims going annually to Makkah, growth of number of Christians and Jews from Ukraine to "Israel" after cancellation of visa regime, growth of number of pilgrims-Chassids to Uman, etc.

For each believer, notwithstanding accessory to religion and faith, the prayer in a way, especially in great religious holidays and important vital events, is of great importance.

Feldman considers that building of places for prayer in the international airport Borispol will also promote to the development of religious tourism to Ukraine as on the territory of our country are situated holy sites of Jews and Christians where annually come ten thousand pilgrims from every corner of the globe.

Let us remind that earlier Alexander Feldman initiated the bill "About modification of the Code of laws on work of Ukraine (concerning the prevention of restrictions of the ethno-national, religious, gender rights at a dress-code establishment on work)" by which is provided protection of the right of Muslim women to wear hijab at workplace, in particular.
