Ukraine has already evacuated 25 Ukrainian citizens from Sector Gaza after Israel started bombing the enclave, Mr.Vasyl Zvarych, deputy Director of the Department For Informational policy said on a briefing on Tuesday.

“As of today, the Ukrainian Representational Office In Palestinian Autonomy assisted 25 Ukrainian citizens in leaving the Sector Gaza though Refat checkpoint in Egypt”, - he noted.

According to the officials, no Ukrainians were injured or killed since the situation in the Middle East escalated.

About 800 Ukrainians remain in the conflict zone, the “Ukrains’ka Pravda” reports.

According to Mr.Zvarych, Ukrainian Diplomats provide the citizens with necessary assistance for evacuation and further transportation to their Homeland if needed.

“Ukrainian officials are concerned about the situation in Gaza over the past week. There are numerous victims among the peasants,” - he said.

“We call for the Israel and Palestine for moderation and stopping the violence. In this context, we welcome Israel’s agreement to cease the fire that can be an important step to further armistice. Ukraine is concerned that peace in the Middle East can be achieved only through negotiations and mutual trust,” - the Ministry of Foreign Affairs declared.
