The Muslim community of the Kherson area intends to construct its own Islamic Cultural Centre in Kherson.
The Imam of Kherson Khalid informed on it the regional information Internet edition "Ploshad Svobody". As he said, the centre will be used by the community in cultural-educational and in ritual purposes.
Imam Khalid found it difficult to specify terms of building of the object, having noticed that much will depend on terms of legal procedures, including on land allocation.
The centre is planned to be built on Poltava street on a site of 0,01 hectares. The project will be realized on donations of parishioners.
The town-planning council at the mayoralty of Kherson already co-coordinated the pre-design offer on building of the Muslim Centre.
