Masks, gloves and volunteer cover-ups with a motto “Do Good!” and the emblem of Lviv Muhammad Asad Islamic Cultural Centre — such was the equipment of Muslim volunteers that delivered grocery packs to the poor citizens of Lviv.
This time, they were just voluntary delivery men: the packs were bought by Lviv Social Service for poor people who called the hotline, to whom the Muslims were recommended as delivery assistance by a Social Organisation “Lviv Psychosocial Support”.
Yet the ICC volunteers are in the process of buying their own groceries and making their own grocery packs for the poor parishioners of the Centre’s mosque, especially those from the risk groups. The packing will be completed in a day or two, and then the packs will be delivered to those people’s homes as well.
