Mufti of RAMC Mr. Emirali Ablaev met the Sudak city mayor Mr. Vladimir Serov last week. They discussed the issues concerning reconstruction of the Muslim religious buildings and land parcelling for a new Sudak Cathedral Mosque.
In particular, the Mufti proposed to parcel land near an Orthodox Church. Mr. Serov, in his turn, promised to meet this request if possible, as he also believed in Mr.Ablaevs idea of attaining better understanding and warmer relations between the followers of the two confessions.
THe mayor assured that they’ll by all means find a place for the new mosque, even if it won’t be near that church, they’ll try their best to propose options the Muslims will be satisfied with.
The parties agreed to continue their dialogue in erecting the mosque and other topical issues considering Sudak Muslim community, exchanged gifts and attended the Sudak School #3 with the Crimean Tatar language of tutoring.
