The arts and crafts exhibition of the Crimean madrasahs’ students is opened in Aqmesdjit (Simferopil).

The exhibition presents about a hundred works of Mavile and Zebide Ibragims, Elmaz Qadır, Elmira Kovali and Seyyare Ahmet, such as: paintings, toys, pictures and beaded products and wood.

The exhibition is organized with the support of the Battal Chelebi religious community and the Council of Elders of the Crimean Tatar people ‘Namus’.

The opening was attended by the Head of the Republican Crimean Tatar Educators Association ‘Maarifchi’, member of the Majlis of Crimean Tatar people Ms. Safure Kadzhamet, the Chief of the Aqmesdjit city’s Department on Interethnic Relations and Formerly Deported Citizens Mr. Bekir Dudaq who presented the young talented children of holiday gifts.

The Namus Elders Council representatives thanked the girls for the contribution of the Crimean Tatar culture development and wished that these and other works will be exhibited in large halls where more people will be able to see them, during the works presentation.

Young gifted children demonstrated a humorous dramatized show about Ahmet-aqay (mister Ahmet) and their skills to read the Quran, in addition to their works.

Moreover, pupils recited poems of the Crimean Tatar language.

The works presentation was completed by dua making (prayer).

According to the Head of the Battal Chelebi Muslim community Temur Chelebi, this presentation is the second part of the arts and crafts exhibition. The first part was held in May 2009.
