NGOs representatives of the Crimean Tatar people will hold the meeting near building of the Embassy of China to Ukraine in the Uyghur’s support of Eastern Turkestan tomorrow, July 17.

The meeting was initiated by the Majlis of the Crimean Tatar people, QHA informs.

According to preliminary data, also the Kyiv’s Muslim community “Marhamat”, the Crimean Tatar students who study in Kyiv, as well as “Association of the Crimean Tatars in Kyiv” will support the meeting.

As the coordinator of the action, the head of the Saky regional majlis, a member of the Majlis of the Crimean Tatar people Zevcet Qurtumer told to the QHA news agency that the purpose of the action is to attract the world public attention to the problem of the Uyghur people, to prevent genocide and to stop discrimination of the Uyghurs of East Turkestan, to show solidarity to the Uyghurs, as to the Turkic brotherly people.

According to the information, the Crimean delegation prepared the national Uyghur flags, many banners with slogans to stop discrimination of the Uyghur people as well as the portrait of leader of the national movement of Uyghur people Rebiya Kadeer to the meeting.
