On the occasion of the Holy Month of Ramadan and the start of the new school year, and in collaboration with many charity organizations (Al Zakkah House of Kuwait – International Mercy Organization – Islah Charity Association – Orphan Sponsor Committee) Al Raed represented by its offices in the Ukraine presented donations to the families of almost 900 Tartar orphan children in the region, on Saturday August 22^nd 2009 in the Islamic Cultural Center, aimed at re-enforcing the values of social solidarity that Islam calls for.

Ramadan Sessions

The relevant division of the Federation took the opportunity to stress the importance of the Holy Month of Ramadan to families and explain the benefits of Ramadan and its conditions, and consequently organized a series of Ramadan cultural sessions which included lessons and lectures given by the prominent Imams in the region.

School Bags

Al Raed also took into consideration the start of the new school year for 2009-2010 and distributed school bags which included an assortment of stationary to hundreds of children both orphans and non-orphans, to encourage them to work hard and be diligent in their studies, as well as bringing them some happiness. It is worthy of note that Al Raed exerts great efforts with the Tartar Muslim children of the Crimea Region, as a form of religious and humane duty, knowing that God will reward the contribution as well as hoping that they will preserve their religious identity from extinction.
