The management of the Great Cossack Stake intends to establish contacts with the Medzhlis of the Crimean-Tatar people for development in the future of constant and wide communications.

For this purpose, the General garmatniy of the Great Cossack Stake, Vladimir Perchuk, met on March, 22nd, the leader of the Crimean-Tatar people, the people's deputy of Ukraine, Mustafa Dzhemilev. About it the news agency QHA was informed by the press-service of the Medzhlis.

In the meetings also participated the head of the department of external relations of Medzhlis, Ali Hamzin, and the delegate of the V Kurultay, Elvedin Chubarov.

V.Perchuk noticed that his visit to the office of the Medzhlis of the Crimean-Tatar people is carried out on the instructions of the management of the Great Cossack Stake for the purpose of establishment of contacts with the representative body of the Crimean-Tatar people for the development of constant and wide communications in the future.

The parties exchanged opinions concerning historical links between the Crimean Khanate and the Ukrainian Cossacks in the past. The positive role of mutual relations during this period, which established friendship between the Ukrainian and the Crimean-Tatar people, was also noted.

The Chairman of the Medzhlis of the Crimean-Tatar people, Mustafa Dzhemilev, noticed that after returning of the deported Crimean-Tatar people to Crimea, there were attempts to adjust kind relations between the Medzhlis and social organizations of the Ukrainian Cossacks who, unfortunately, for various reasons did not take place.

In the end of the meeting was reached the agreement on necessity of carrying out of "the round table" in Crimea in the course of which interested parties can discuss all questions on the further development.

As it adds QV, similar cooperation took place some years ago when with assistance of "The Ukrainian Cossacks" and the Medzhlis was created "The Crimean-Tatar regiment" which ataman was appointed "The Cossack colonel" Yakub Appazov. And Ilmi Umerov got the rank of the general cornet.
