Muslims of Ukraine join Day of Spiritual Service for the Sake of Life Preservation on Planet
On October, 10th, in Kiev representatives of different religions and spiritual currents of Ukraine united in the common prayer and spiritual service for the sake of life preservation on the Planet. The day of spiritual service will take place within the limits of Global work party - global celebrating of the world Day of actions on protection of climate under the aegis of the international movement 350.org which joined 187 countries of the world.
The purpose of the Day of spiritual service consists in showing to people that the environment ecology begins with soul ecology, from simple values which last years are changed by materialism, informs "Gromadsky prostir".
Day of spiritual service will proceed with the action "Open your heart to the Planet" which will take place on the Mihaylovsky square.
From the Muslim community of Ukraine in the actions will participate the Religious Administration of Muslims of Ukraine "Ummah" and the all-Ukraine Association of Social Organizations "Аlraid".
As it informed "Islam in Ukraine" in branch on public relations and mass-media of the AUASO "Alraid", it is planned that the Mufti of the RAMU "Ummah", Said Ismagilov, and the Imam of a mosque of the Islamic Cultural Centre of Kiev, Sheikh Imad Abu Al-Rubb, will join the meeting on the Mihaylovsky square.
Moreover, on October, 8th, within the limits of the Day of spiritual service in mosques of the Islamic cultural centers of Kiev, Simferopol, Kharkov, Odessa, Donetsk, Vinnitsa, Zaporozhye and Lugansk, and also communities which are a part of the RAMU "Ummah", were held lectures and Friday sermons on the topic of protection of environment and responsibility of the believers as deputies of God on the Earth.
Thus the Ukrainian Muslims together with representatives of other religions and cultures show in Ukraine inter-confessional and intercultural solidarity with values of preservation of spirituality and life on the Planet.
