Today the new addition of the Blood Donors Recommendations Brochures, printed within the “Become a Donor!” blood donorship benefit. As reported earlier, the blood donorship benefit will take place in Kyiv Islamic Cultural Centre (25a Dehtyarivs’ka Str.) on Friday, August 30, 2013.

The project initiators call for call non-indifferent people to come and pick their copy of the “Recommendations and Contraindications” Brochure (or download it online) and also study other related materials on a special “Become a Donor!” page on Facebook.

We will make much more for promoting Islam by donating blood and saving lives than by years and years of speaking about the benefits of our religion. There are many people talking of good deeds and only a few really doing them.

But the true Muslim’s good deeds must always follow his good words.
Remember how the Almighty questions us in the Qur’an: “O you who have believed, why do you say what you do not do? Great is hatred in the sight of Allah that you say what you do not do” [Qur’an, 61:3–4]. This is a very serious warning, and may every heart hear it.
