First Crimean Tatar Bibliography Index is Presented in Crimea

The “Bibliography index of printed books, articles and works in the Crimean Tatar language: 1618-1944” is presented in the Ismail Gaspralı’s Crimean Tatar library in Simferopil, September 9.

The presentation was held by the author of this publication, the Head of the Crimean Tatar and Turkish literature Department of the Crimean Engineering and Pedagogical University, Doctor of Philology Ismail Kerim.

The event was attended by librarians and students of the Crimean Engineering and Pedagogical University.

This scientific work was published in edition of 1000 copies, published in the Simferopil City Printing establishment JSC.

Dr. Ismail Kerim noted that he collected the bibliographic material about 35 years.

“Long ago the modern national science has been needed such bibliography index. 35 years of work to collect the bibliographic material is resulted to this significant work” – Dr. Ismail Kerim said.

The book is aimed to the senior students of the Crimean Tatar national schools, students of the Crimean Tatar philology department, graduate students and lecturers.
