Presentation of a short documentary by Olha Morkova “Crimea Unveiled” is to be held on November 8, 2014, 6 PM, at the “Master Class” Hall for Education and Culture (Kyiv city, 16a Lavrska Str.). The movie screening is free, however, the preliminary registration is required (please fill in the form online).
Screening the documentary about the Crimean Tatar artist forced to leave the Crimean peninsula after Russia occupied it in March 2014 and a mini exhibition of Mr.Rustem Skibin, the Crimean Tatar Ceramist, are on schedule. The movie’s soundtrack was exclusively written by Ukrainian musicians Mr.Fima Chupakhin, Ms.Elvira Sarykhalil and the “Zira” band from Odesa.
The movie, filmed with the support of the US Embassy, “Rinat Akhmetov Fund” and Fulbright Program in Ukraine, is meant to teach how to hear and feel the inimitable Crimean atmosphere and the culture of the peninsula’s indigenous people Crimean Tatars. The presentation is to be held at informational support of the “Crimea_SOS” public initiative.
