The School year is due to end soon, and long summer holidays are ahead. In Summer, parents usually try to send their children somewhere to have some leisure time, or at least to their relatives so the offsprings can get away from it all. And while everyone hasn’t departed yet, All-Ukrainian Association “Alraid” used the opportunity and held a short mini-camp for teenaged Muslims from every part of Ukraine on the weekend of 13-14 May.

Teenagers are not the kind of audience who will listen to lecture patiently for hours, no matter how interesting those lectures are, so the facilitators made sure to maximally diversify the schedule with trainings with Psychologists, craft classes, sport games and competitions, and an excursion on the last day.

As for the young participants, they particularly liked the trainings with the Psychologists where they could discuss their problems and get a piece of advice and support, as well as the informational capacity of the lectures. And, of course, they highly appreciated the opportunity to meet their peers from other regions of Ukraine and make some new friends.
