On May 22, in Aqmescit (Simferopil) the first meeting of the Coordination council of the World Congress of the Crimean Tatars (WCCT) under the chairmanship of the WCCT President Refat Çubar took place after finish of the WCCT’s work.
As reported QHA with a link to the Majlis press service, the Chairman of the Majlis of Crimean Tatar people Mustafa Cemil welcomed the Coordination council’s members with beginning of their activity.
“Members talked about organizational issues of this body, basic principles of its activity, methods of contacting and information exchange between its members from among diaspora and the Central office that will be located in Crimea” – the Majlis press service informs.
According to its information, the Coordination council’s members coordinated severally forms and stages of work for harmonization of provisions of the WCCT Regulations with legislations of the countries where the Crimean Tatar NGOs - WCCT members are functioning as well as with suggestions of just public organization. It should be noted that the WCCT delegates approved a proposed project of the WCCT Regulations assuming it as a basis.
