In various regions of Crimea are more and more often carried out actions devoted to Mawlid - the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad. One of such meetings took place on April, 3rd, in the village of Karagoz (Pervomayskoye) of the Kirov area.
As initiators of the action acted the Muslim community and the Mejlis of the village of Karagoz with support of the Kirov and Feodosiya regional Muslim communities. The meeting passed at the active participation of local teachers and students.
Organizers hope that the action will be exemplary for all Muslims, and within the following years in other villages of Crimea will increase the quantity of Muslim communities and the initiative of school teachers, ready to contribute to the duty of development of Islam on the Crimean peninsula and spread of knowledge about the Prophet Muhammad.
Similar actions carried out at the initiative of the Spiritual Management of Muslims of Crimea (SMMC), local Muslim communities and Imams, and also teachers of schools, tell about life and personality of the Prophet of Islam.
"It pleases that every year the quantity of similar initiatives increases and more and more people learn something new about the Prophet Muhammad", the SMMC marks.
