"Israel" does not recognize its responsibility for the death of a citizen of Ukraine and her two-year-old child as a result of the slaughter arranged by the Israeli soldiers in Gaza Strip in the end of 2008 – the beginning of 2009, and refuses to pay indemnification to her relatives. It is stated in the exclusive interview to "Zerkalo Nedeli" by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of "Israel" Avigdor Liberman.
Known for extreme radicalism of his views, Avigdor Liberman informed that investigation of death of the Ukrainian and her child was carried out, and its results are sent to the Ukrainian party. "Israel" denies its fault in death of citizens of Ukraine and transfers all responsibility to the soldiers of HAMAS, who, ostensibly, "knowing that in the house there are a woman and a child... arranged there an ambush". And Israeli soldiers performing their offensive operation using heavy machinery and forbidden weapons of mass destruction, according to Liberman, "just protected themselves, when they opened reciprocal fire".
Once again having repeated the false statement about the use of HAMAS of "civilians as a live board", the Israeli party refused to pay indemnification to the relatives of the killed woman.
On a question of a journalist that "after all the state should be responsible for the actions of its soldiers in which result were killed innocent people", Liberman declared, "The state should not bear responsibility that terrorists use peaceful population. We consider it as a position of principle".
The Ukrainian-Israeli relations
The relation of Tel Aviv to Kiev became warmer when Ukraine twice supported "Israel" during the voting in the United Nations having opposed the report of Goldstone, accusing Israelis in infringement of human rights during military operations in Gaza Strip in the beginning of this year.
As the Israeli Minister of Foreign Affairs informed, the agreement on a visa-free regime between two countries will be signed in 2010. Russia became the first of the countries of the former USSR which citizens can go to "Israel" without obtaining the visa. "We will start to extend a visa-free regime to all CIS countries gradually. The second after Russia goes Ukraine", Liberman stated.
Ukraine and "Israel" closely approached to creation of a free trade mode. However, it would be an error to consider this mode as a key one, as "we do not have two more important agreements — about mutual protection of investments and opening of the demand line of credit between two states. We would like to concentrate on these three basic documents: together with the agreement on a visa-free regime they will create absolutely different, best conditions for business", the Minister emphasized.
"Famine had class character"
As it is known, "Israel" refuses to recognize the Famine of 1932-1933 as a genocide of the Ukrainian people. "We consider that the Famine had not national, but class character", Liberman explained an official position of the country represented by him. "In the thirties the hunger struck across the Volga region, Belarus, Moldova, all republics. I am not the historian, but I am not sure that it was directed only against Ukrainians. First of all it was directed against a certain social layer — prosperous peasantry. Many people who do not have any relation to prosperous peasantry suffered, as it always happens", he added.
The inquiry. Avigdor Liberman - the native of Kishinev, leads party "Our home — Israel", directed at the natives of the former Soviet Union.
Points of his program are widely known: to flood Egypt, having destroyed the Aswan dam, to store the Israeli waste in Gaza Strip, to transform quarters in which reside relatives of "terrorists" into football fields, to destroy totally Teheran, to check up on loyalty to the Jewish state all Arabs living in "Israel", citizens of "Israel, and to expel from the country those who did not sustain the check. The majority of Israelis consider Liberman as the fascist and state suspicion that Liberman is a mentally inadequate person.
