Crimean tatars as sound citizens of Ukraine decided to take active part in choosing the path for their native country. Crimean Tartars came to the continent to join the demonstrations and express their civil position, besides, now they are coordinated from Crimea.
The Crimean tatar Mejlis official website published an appeal to associate heads and members of district and local Majlises and all the Crimean Tatars in general.
The Crimean Tatar Mejlis, in particular, accentuates the public attention on the fact that this body took the coordination role, putting the responsibility for Crimean tatars at Maidan on their representative.
“We inform that the coordination of all questions of participation of Crimean Tatars in support of the Eurointegrational course of Ukraine during their stay in Kyiv lies upon the Mejlis Deputy Head Mr. Akhtem Chiygoz,” - the statement says.
It bears reminding that the social unrest that found expression in peaceful demostrationst started on November 21, after the government decided to freese negotiations with the EU.
Mr. Chiygoz himself says that he has information about people from Chernomorsk, Bakhchisaray, Sudak and Kirov districts of Crimea now being in Kyiv.
“A lot of Crimean Tatars want to go and join the demonstrayions in Kyiv, they want their people to be represented as wide as possible,” - the Deputy Head of Mejlis said.
The Mejlis intended to continue coordinating groups of people going to Kyiv from all the Crimea.
