The Spiritual Management of Muslims of Crimea declared fund raising for finishing of building of a mosque in the area "Airport – Zavodskoye" of the city of Akmesdzit (Simferopol), the part of which was built by the local Muslim community by their own efforts.

"Since ancient times mosques which role in the spiritual life of Muslims is huge, functioned in each village and settlement, and even quarters of big villages of Crimea. The majority of them were destroyed during the Soviet period. Presently the Crimean-Tatar people revive the spirituality, there were built a lot of mosques", the SMMC marks.

According to the Spiritual Management, one of such cult constructions is in the area of Zavodskoye airport. Local Muslims decided, by joining their efforts, by their own means to build a mosque. The base was put and building walls were put up, however, it became soon clear that for the end of the building the help is needed and that the Muslim community of the area could not finish the building by its own means.

In this connection was accepted the decision to address to public with request to help this good duty.

"Everyone wishing to help with finishing of building of the mosque around the Zavodskoye airport and render feasible help can to address the Spiritual Management of Muslims of Crimea", the SMMC informed.
