The president of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko expressed condolences to the King of Morocco Mohamed VI in connection with the tragedy that took place in a mosque of Meekness in which result were killed and get injuries tens persons.
On it informs UKRINFORM with the reference to the press-service of the Head of the state.
"On behalf of the people of Ukraine and from myself personally I express you and the families of victims my condolences, and also wishes of the prompt recover to the injured", is stated in V.Jushchenko's condolence.
Let us remind that on February, 19th, as a result of the mosque destruction in the city in northern west of the Kingdom 36 persons were killed and more than 70 got injuries. It is supposed that downpours which led to destruction of not burnt brick, of which the building was constructed in the XVI century, became the reason of the destruction.
