The Simferopil consulting company PiaRT plans to begin a shooting the first Crimean Tatar full-length feature film “Sevda imtianı” (Test of Love) to the end of current year. It will be drama of two Crimean Tatar families during historical events in period of 1938-1996.
This information is disclosed by the film producer Haydar Osman at the press conference today, on May 5 in Simferopil.
In particular, H. Osman noted, film will narrate about life of two Crimean Tatar families for 58 years. According to him, film will tell about events of wartime, period of the Deportation of the Crimean Tatar people, its attempts to preserve itself out of their Motherland and comeback to Crimea. “Every people has own motion picture and the matter of honour for the Crimean Tatars to create a film that will narrate about the Crimean Tatars’ history. Therefore, it will be a film of love for our native country, love of people to one another, love for their nation” – producer stressed. H. Osman also added, at first, a film will be directed to older generation which saw at first hand and which will to become as constructive critic for a motion picture.
According to him, noteworthy, a film will be deprived of any political hidden motive. H. Osman explained: “It will be only history and political regime that had an influence upon the Crimean Tatars’ fates”.
At the present, y his information, director scenario is written, cast for film is selected practically. A film that will be shot in Crimean Tatar will be subtitled in Russian, Ukrainian, English and Turkish. Producer told they have already order from Turkey, Uzbekistan and Romania.
“However, shooting a film and its worth presentation demand colossal investments” – noted H. Osman.
In connection with this, the company calls to all people who are not indifferent to the historical past of the Crimean Tatar people to render a feasible financial aid for creation of given film within framework of project ‘People’s support of the first Crimean Tatar film “Sevda imtianı”.
