Ethnic Fashion of Crimea exhibition opens June 12 in Aqmescit (Simferopil). Thіs news was reported to QHA in the All-Ukrainian Cultural and Informational Centre (UCIC).
Exhibition organized by UCIC will present a series of sketches of ethnic and Crimean Tatar folk costumes modelled by Crimean Tatar fashion designers. Photographs of accessories to costumes will be shown in a separate section. Jewelleries and embroideries created by the same masters will be exhibited as well.
Particularly, the exposition will be presented such designers’ works as Venera Kurmi, Halide Çilingir, Elmira Sofu and others.
On the opening ceremony will be organized a fashion show. On the last day of the exhibition, which will be showing in Aqmescit over a month, leaders of the Crimean ethnic bands and groups will participate in a seminar organized by the designers.
