The authorities of Yalta definitively transferred to the Spiritual Management of Muslims of Crimea a mosque building in the downtown in the Kievskaya Street. The city executive committee made decision to give out to the SMMC the certificate on the property right to it.
According to the chief of the Yalta management of migration and international relations, Zaur Smirnov, an issue on transfer of this building by a total area more than 640 square meters to the SMMC was considered already since 2001 when the city council session made the first decision about it. Earlier in this building was the specialized school, and the mosque actually started to function in 1998.
Moreover, Smirnov added, on the nearest session of the city council is taken out an issue on allocation of the land with the size of 0,04 hectares under mosque building in micro district Autka-2 – in a place of compact residing of the Crimean-Tatar population.
