The delegation from Ukraine, as a part of the representative of the Central Spiritual Management of Muslims (CSMM) of Russia in Ukraine, Rinat Aysin, and the head of the Muslim Religious Community of the city of Sevastopol, the director of the mosque "Akyar Dzhami", Enver Resulev, the day before visited Ufa. During the meeting were discussed possible prospects of cooperation on development of Muslim education in Crimea.

"The spirituality and Islam renaissance in particular started here in the early nineties, - Enver Resulev stated in his interview to "Bashinform". - Approximately at this time the deported Crimean Tatars just started to come back to their Motherland".

After Enver Resulev was elected as the chairman of local religious organization "Munevver", he had also to be engaged both with the help to immigrants, and with restoration of Islamic culture in Sevastopol. Thus restoration of a cathedral mosque "Akyar Dzhami" was one of his main tasks, as well as of all Muslims of the city.

After restoration and building of a minaret of "Akyar Dzhami", it became the best mosque in Crimea. Soon after that in Sevastopol was opened a Muslim cemetery, and since 2003, at the mosque started its work a medrese.

"There is no similar educational institution in Ukraine until now, - the head of the Muslim Community of Sevastopol states. - And we understand that it will be difficult to create it by our own means. Therefore in this business we very much rely on support of the Russian side. For the present it is still early to speak about something concrete, but we would very much agree, if the Central Spiritual Management of Muslims of Russia made a decision to open in Sevastopol branch of the Russian Islamic university".

The variant with establishment in Crimea of a branch of the Russian spiritual university could have, according to Enver Resulev, variety of advantages. First, it is much easier to open a branch, than an independent educational institution. Secondly, graduates with diplomas of the Russian Islamic University would have much more possibilities for employment. And, again, the organization of similar branch would promote the further development of communications in the sphere of spiritual education between Russia and Ukraine.
