September 8, the Religious Administration of Muslims of Crimea (Muftiyat) has summed up the charitable action ‘Merhametlik’ (‘Mercy’).
According to the Mufti of Crimea haji Emirali Ablaev, during the charitable event the organization collected UAH 130,000 and distributed them among 19 gravely ill people from different corners of Crimea, including Simferopol, Dzhankoy, Sudak, Bilohirsk, Saky and Feodosiya.
The oldest of these people is 48, the youngest – a year old. Each of them was diagnosed with such terrible diseases as bilateral deafness, spinal trauma, cancer, cyst, cholelithiasis, primary sclerosing cholangitis and cerebral palsy.
“This action will continue… Allah sends us various difficulties and trials, but if our people remain friendly, we will overcome them,” Mufti stressed.
At the conclusion of the meeting, participants recited the dua (prayer) for the recovery of all the patients.
It will be recalled that ‘Merhametlik’ charitable action lasted during the holy month of Ramadan.
