On December, 11th, in Kiev took place the Fifth Congress of Representatives of Religious Administrations of Muslims of Ukraine which organizers defined the action status as all-Ukraine. Representatives of the greatest Religious Administrations of Ukraine assert that the habashites impose their domination over all Muslims of the country.
According to the organizers, in the congress participated about 3,5 thousand of delegates representing Muslim communities which support encourages the RAMU. As the heads of other religious administrations of the country declared to the correspondent of the site "Islam in Ukraine", they did not accept participation in the congress, did not delegate there their plenipotentiaries, and do not consider this congress as all-Ukraine.
The action leitmotif was the appeal "to protect the society from displays of extremism and to develop the dialogue with all representatives of the multi-national and multi-confessional Ukrainian society". In the same key by results of the congress the resolution was accepted.
Ahmed Tamim, heading the RAMU and naming himself "the Mufti of Ukraine", considers himself a habashite, the trend, which doctrine differs from the classical doctrine of Islam and is banned as a sect in a number of Muslim states. In his performance at the congress he stated that in Ukraine Muslims "led by the RAM of Ukraine" could adjust relations with the society.
However, it is necessary to notice that according to the official figures, on January, 1st, 2011, in the country function 1208 Muslim religious communities. 960 of them are a part of the Religious Administration of Muslims of Crimea (RAMC), 20 communities are a part of the Religious Administration of Muslims of Ukraine "Ummah" (the RAMU "Ummah"), 18 are in the structure of the Religious Center of Muslims of Ukraine (RCMU), 16 are in the structure of the Regional Association "Kiev Muftiyat", 11 communities try to legalize themselves as all-Ukraine Religious Administration of Muslims "Yednannya" (Unity).
Thus, in the congress of the RAMU participated not more than 7% of Muslim communities of the country, and on definition of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, Ahmed Tamim operates and represents interests of exclusively his Religious Administration and Muslim organizations which are included into its structure, and, consequently the post of "the Mufti of Ukraine" is illegitimate.
