An awareness-raising seminar for Ukrainian Muslims going to Hajj this year took place at Simferopol Islamic Cultural Centre today. About 100 people (20 of them are women) left the ICC conference hall recently after several hours of intensive course telling how to perform this religious behest the best way possible.
Future pilgrims attended lectures on the importance of performing Hajj and the rules of performing it, and the lecturers, Riza Fazyl and Master of Shatiah Seiran Arifov answered the questions.
To help the listeners take in a meager theory, the AUASO “Alraid” Crimean Branch staff made a demonstrational movie screening so that people could see how all that works in-situ.
Besides matters of Theology, the participants could clarify their daily living needs. Yasser Amro, head of the “Cosmos Travel Star” touring firm, told them about the flight and living conditions and clarified some issues. He also gave some recommendations on what things the pilgrims might need in their journey so they should better includ those things to their luggage.
Group of Ukrainian Pilgrims (165 people, including 110 from Crimea) will leave from the “Boryspil” International Airport for Amman (Jordan) on October 7. The Pilgrims will proceed their trip to Saudi Arabia from there.
