Mr. Seifullah Rashidov, Head of Luhansk Muslim community “Salam”, assures that he doesn’t know any single person among the region’s several thousand Muslims who would like their region to be affiliated to Russia. He told that in his interview for the “Real Newspaper”.

When asked how the members of the Muslim community feel about the current situation, Mr. Rashidov answered: “My fellow countryman can illustrate the following thesis: I don’t know any single person among the region’s several thousand Muslims who would like their region to be affiliated to Russia. They constantly visit Daghestan, several times in a year, and see how the government forses talk to those who want more freedom for the region, You can’t name this a conversation, though: they come to you from the back, put a bomb near you, and then blow you up.”

He thinks that Ukraine's main problem is the lack of patriotic education, and that all the spheres of social life are totally corrupt.

Note: Mr. Seifullah Rashidov is a specialist in conflictology and a professor at the Vladimir Dal university, Doctor of Education. He was born in Daghestan and has been living in Luhansk for 35 years already.
