Ukraine’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr.Pavlo Klimkin announced extending the level of cooperation with the Arab World while meeting 11 embassadors of Arabic countries accredited in Kyiv (Algeria, Egypt, Iraq, Kuwait, Lebanon, Lybia, Morocco, UAE, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Sudan) at the Department of Politics and Communication of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
Mr.Klimkin said that Ukraine has interest in attracting more investments from the Middle East and Northern Africa, and thanked the ambassadors for their countries’ support for Ukraine’s territorial integrity and sovereignty both within the framework of international organisations and on bilateral level, the UNIAN Agency reports.
In order to make interpersonal communication easier, Ukraine is considering simplifying the visa regime with some of the Arab countries. The Minister also informed that the President of Ukraine is planning to appoint new ambassadors to a range of arab countries in the nearest future.
