Ukrainian Muslim girls and women of different ethnic background participated in the event as well, having caused a vivid interest in the crowd. Passers by were intrigued and asked a lot of questions of the Muslimahs’ roots, occupations and plans for the future, and thanked them for supporting the initiative. “How often do you wear a vyshyvanka?” was another popular question.

People posted their pictures to the social media that evening, having caused a barrage of “likes” and “reposts”.

It bears reminding that participants of the March gathered on the Square near the Golden Gates (Ukr. “Zoloti Vorota”) to then make a file and march towards the Arc of National Cohesion.
