In the Religious Administration of Muslims of Crimea (RAMC) consider that the authorities of Ukraine and Crimea promote registration of the parallel Muftiyat of Crimea and creation of Muslim radical religious sects for the purpose of splitting of the Crimean-Tatar public. The assistant to the Mufti of Crimea, Ayder Ismailov, declared it at the press conference in Simferopol, "Crimea. Comments" site states.

"Our numerous references in authorities, Office of the Public Prosecutor, were ignored", the assistant to the Mufty notes. – "Therefore we would like to pay attention of the public to the situation which developed in the religious sphere of Muslims, and also to inform the officials about all problematical character of the given situation".

As he said, the process of distribution of radical and extremist sects creates ground for the social conflict.

"Unfortunately, artificial character of the development of radical moods in Muslims of Crimea is looked through. First of all, this introduction of radical religious sects in the environment of Muslims of Crimea which conduct a split activity is provoked by conflicts and purposefully, regularly, exercise attacks to the Religious Administration of Muslims of Crimea. Secondly, this is legalization of the given sects on the territory of Ukraine by the state structures", Ismailov noted.

As he said, the authorities register sectarian social organizations, their printing mass-media.

Ismailov notices that the RAMC openly opposes registration of the Religious Centre of Muslims of Crimea which was registered on December, 14th, 2010. As he said, thus, the rights of Muslims of Crimea on election of the spiritual leader are violated.

"When the person, having got support of several tens of supporters, declares that he is the Mufti of Muslims of Crimea, it is not admissible", Ismailov noted. He also added, "Strange, but it is promoted by certain state bodies which are engaged in registration of this sort of organizations".

Ismailov also noticed that the similar situation is observed neither in Russia, nor in other countries.

"I often happen to be on business trips, for example, in Karachaevo-Circassia, Kabardino-Balkariya, the Chechen Republic, Afghanistan, everywhere there is only one Religious Administration of Muslims", he noted.

"Considering that Muslim structure of Crimea this is in the overwhelming majority the Crimean Tatars, therefore this sort of facts confirm, for me in particular, two things – artificial character of the phenomenon of similar sects, and also support from outside of certain state structures of their activity on the territory of Crimea", the assistant to the Mufti of Crimea summed up.

"This is the split of Muslims of Crimea and the Crimean-Tatar people", he added.
