The Ukrainian-Israeli agreement on the cancellation of the visa regime will be signed in the first half of 2010, Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman said during the official visit to Ukraine.

"We hope that we will be able to reach and sign the agreement with Ukraine in the near future, after all talks are held in Israel"- he said.

According to the Ukrinform, also Lieberman said that during domestic talks, Israel would take into account the same principles that were followed at similar talks with Russia.

"It took six months for us and Russia to reach such agreement. We think that we'll manage to reach the same agreement with Ukraine in six months," he said.
