Within the limits of the project "National revival" on March, 24th, 2010, in Simferopol will take place The Crimean-Tatar Culture Day. The action is carried out by the Crimean-Tatar Social Organization "Amel" with assistance of the all-Ukraine Association of Social Organizations "Аlraid".
On the action devoted to culture and life of the Crimean Khanate, are invited the senior lecturer of chair of the Crimean-Tatar and the Turkish literature of the Crimean Engineering-Pedagogical University, the candidate of philology Nariman Seytyagya, the teacher of history of the Taurian National University of Vernadsky, the candidate of history Eldar Seydamet, and also a well-known in Ukraine Islamic ideologist Seyran Arifov.
According to organizers, the idea of the action consists in inculcation to the Crimean-Tatar youth of love, respect and honoring of their history, religion and traditions. "In the present period, when borders between human communities and nations are erased, during the epoch of development of globalization, preservation of communication with the spiritual and cultural roots is very important", organizers mark.
It is also necessary to consider the fact that the Crimean-Tatar people endured in the historical past a row of reprisals, destructions of everything what concerned its culture, history and the general property. It started during the imperial epoch, and the time of existence of the USSR was the culmination. As a result of it the new generation practically does not know its nice history and loses touch with the past. Therefore organizers are assured of necessity of propagation and revival of Islamic religion and the Crimean-Tatar heritage.
"Similar actions will contribute to understanding of a true role of Islam in life and outlook of our people", is stated in the invitation spread by the organizers.
The action starts at 5pm in Simferopol, Mokrousov's street, 7.
