Participants of the Crimean Tatar land action fully renewed the camp after night attack that was committed by unknown on the night of 29 to 30 July this year in Kiev. QHA was reported about it by the participant of the action Rinat Shaymardan.
According to R. Shaymardan, picketers renovate and repaired the posters and banners. ‘Instead of those three stolen barrels five new have been brought, that are painted to the bright orange. There are inscriptions on the barrels like ‘Julya - Earth to people!’ - he said.
It is notable that citizens from different regions of Ukraine begin to join the action.
Picketers assert that they will stay there till the Cabinet Ministers will not settle land issue in Crimea and will not accept any persuasions of the Government in order to withdraw the picket.
‘During several years we hear that the work is doing but all these years we have no land. We are not satisfied about it. We want to see the results of this work but not the work of the Government. Over 17 years of Ukraine independence the authorities had sufficient time to settle the land question’- members of the protest action say.
It should be reminded that today, August 4 it is the 85th day of the Crimean Tatars protest near the walls of the Cabinet Ministers of Ukraine. Participants call on the Government of Ukraine to allocate repatriates the land for the construction of individual housing.
