In Crimea politicians artificially try to create interethnic problems. The similar statement sounded yesterday, on November 11, in Simferopol in the course of scientific conference "Cultural-civilization dialogue and harmonisation of ways of inter-ethnic and inter-confessional relations in Crimea".
Many participants of the conference expressed the opinion that in Crimea they try to create interethnic problems artificially. "In Crimea there are a lot of conflict factors. So, for example, the Crimean Tatars wish to receive nationally colored autonomy, Russians demand protection of their rights etc. interethnic problems are created by politicians", one of the participants of the conference, the candidate of historical sciences, the senior lecturer of the chair of the political science of the Taurian National University of V.I.Vernadsky Andrey Nikiforov noted.
As it marked Margarita Aradzhioni, the head of the department of ethnic-confessional researches of the Crimean branch of the Institute of Oriental Studies of the NSA of Ukraine, the religion should be taught at school, as in school textbooks there is practically no information on religion, history and traditions of Crimea. She, in particular, told that their organization since 2004 works over introduction in educational institutions of Crimea of a course "Culture of good neighborhood".
"The work already bore considerable fruits. For instance, books on teaching culture of good neighborhood for initial and senior classes in Russian and Ukrainian are published. We plan by 2011 to publish books on the Crimean-Tatar language", M. Aradzhioni said.
The head of the All-Ukraine Association of Social Organizations "Аlraid" Ismail Kadi, in his turn, emphasized, how is important tolerance development in a modern society. Besides, he urged not to allow officials to use religion in their political purposes.
As it was informed earlier, III Scientific Conference devoted to inter-ethnic and inter-confessional relations in Crimea was organized and carried out by the AUASO "Alraid" together with the Institute of Oriental Studies of A.E.Krimsky of the NSA of Ukraine and the Taurian National University of V.I.Vernadsky.
