Construction of the mosque has been started in the territory of Pirogov’s sanatorium in Saq (Saky). This is reported by the Head of Saq regional majlis Zevcet Qurtumer.
According to him, on September 10, during the celebration of one of the main religious Muslim holidays of Oraza Bayram, the sanatorium’s management together with the Mufti of Crimean Muslims hajji Emirali Ablaev, the First Deputy Chairman of the Majlis of the Crimean Tatar people Refat Chubarov and representatives of the Saq regional majlis have laid the foundation stone of the new mosque.
“The mosque, which will be built at the sanatorium’s expense, will be able to accommodate 50 people and is constructed on the initiative of the Director General of the Sanatorium Vitalii Ustiuzhanin”, said Mr. Qurtumer.
