The Spiritual Management of Muslims of Ukraine "Umma" warmly congratulates Muslims of Ukraine and the whole world on approach of the Holy Month of Ramadan and the beginning of fast. On it informs the blog of the SMMU "Ummah" on WorldPress.com.
Let's remind that the Council of Spiritual Managements and Centers of Muslims of Ukraine declared Friday, August, 21, to be the first day of the Holy Month of Ramadan in Ukraine.
Allah the Almighty ordered to Muslims in the Holy Quran, "O ye who believe! Fasting is prescribed to you as it was prescribed to those before you, that ye may (learn) self-restraint". (The Holy Quran, 2:183).
Fasting in the month of Ramadan, performing good deeds, pardon and compassion, help to the needy, are repeatedly remunerated by Allah the Almighty in this month and they grant to Muslims purification and renewing.
"May Allah the Almighty accept our fast, our prayers, bestow on us spiritual forces and unite our hearts by bonds of love and brotherhood in this Blessed Month! I sincerely wish to all Muslims of Ukraine and the whole world peace, favor of Allah the Almighty, sound health, family happiness and successes in all good undertakings", with these wishes and kind prayers the Mufti of the SMMU "Ummah" Said Ismagilov addressed to Muslims.
Let's remind that the SMMU "Ummah" which began its activity on September, 11, 2008, is a voluntary association of religious communities of Muslims of Ukraine. It is created for the purpose of coordination of actions for maintenance of necessary conditions for practicing and distributions of the doctrine of Sunni Islam.
Structure of "Ummah" includes Muslim religious communities of more than ten regional centers of the country. Activity of the Spiritual Management extends on all the territory of Ukraine.
