On July 22, a new informational analytical project called ArabPress.net.ua was launched on the Internet.
People in different parts of the planet scan the situation within the Arab world over the last years. At the same time, there’s an acute shortage of information, analytics and full coverage of the regional events straight from the local Arab sources in Russian-language sector of the Web, not to mention the lack of timely translations from the Arab-language reports, articles and analytics. It was the necessity of filling the informational vacuum that made the “Alraid” Informational Analytical Centre team launch a project that would meet those needs.
It’s not by chance that the “Window On The Arab World” became the motto of the project, as ArabPress is an independent Ukrainian website providing the readers with information on the Arab world and their problems, and also on their relation with Ukraine and other countries. The information is drawn from the Arab-language sources and on-site reporters, and translated to Russian as fast as possible, so that the users always have access to maximum up-to-date information.
The ArabPress is aimed at getting the Arab world’s message across the Russian-speaking countries, sharing the opinions and views of prominent public and religious figures and scientists known for their professionalism and impartiality.
ArabPress is a voicer of neither any political party nor any Arab country, its task is to have a keen sense of the pulse of the latest events and provide the information as it is.
